Opportunity Works contracts with area companies to provide a variety of services which include packaging, assembly, sorting and quality control inspection. This facility also offers complete mailing services.

A primary goal of this employment service is to teach individuals a variety of skills in order to prepare them for entering the general work force at independent community work sites.

Through this service, individuals are employed throughout the community by a variety of businesses within the private sector. While being compensated for the services they perform, individuals have the opportunity to become increasingly self-reliant and to gain confidence in their ability to adjust to a normal work environment. Individuals further benefit through their exposure to appropriate work habits and social skills.

Employment counselors provide job site training and supervision and offer the support necessary to enable individuals to make the transition to the work enviorment Individuals are employed in a variety of retail and trade professions including food service, maintenance, warehousing, landscaping, manufacturing and clerical.
